mojoRTK and Victoria's statewide GPSnet network

Leica Geosystems has opened Victoria's GPSnet CORS network to the ag industry to offer RTK auto-steer via the mojoRTK console.

Unlike RTK networks that consist of clusters of single point reference stations, a Continually Operating Reference Station, or CORS, network delivers a truly networked, consistent RTK accuracy solution regardless of your distance from a network base.

mojoRTK is the only auto-steer system on the market that is able to access GPSnet directly via the console's built-in HSDPA modem.

With around one third of the network currently completed, the GPSnet CORS network will be rolled out in a staged project called Positioning Regional Victoria (PRV), with full state wide coverage in 2011. The Wimmera Mallee region is the first priority stage in rural Victoria for the roll-out.
